Here is a website I found that lists all of the hospitals around Richmond, where their locations were, and when they were in operation: http://www.mdgorman.com/Hospitals/hospital_index.htm

Your Soldiers Home Hospital is listed and the website states:
"Early temporary location 7th and Cary Streets. Permanent location on corner of Henry and Clay Streets. Capacity about 40. Still open 1865."

Whether the original building is still there, I don't have a clue, but this at least gives you a start.
