Doug, May I suggest that you try to find out the exact place and death of your grandfather. Once you learn this, you can get a copy of his death certificate, a copy of his obituary, and if he collected Social Security Benifits you can obtain a copy of his S.S. Card application. Tell that Aunt that you want to know your heritage, and that even though she does not understand it, that you would appreciate any details or family stories. Good luck
