I am not completely sure if this is the same Richard Clawson that I am looking for. The birth date I have is 1750 which is in the same general timeframe. In my tree, he had a son Samuel who had a son, John B., who had a son Davis. From Davis on, I have pretty reliable information since this is given to me by family. Anyway, the problem I have been having is that I haven't been able to put a John B. as the son of Samuel.

My relatives have lived mostly in West Wheatfield Township, Indiana County; Fairfield Township, Westmoreland County; Bolivar; and Barnesboro. All of these areas are within a short distance of Blacklick Township. As you can see, there is several matches but I can't confirm it with a high level of certainty. Also many of the common names I have in my tree appear in your list which also strongly suggests that they could be the same tree.

Anyway, in your search for Richard's siblings and parents, I may have some information that could explain why you are having problems. I would like to keep it from general knowledge at this time based on recommendations from friends who do genealogy. I can give you some of this information if you want but I would like to do it outside of this forum and to not leave it get too far.
