Clouston Family Genealogy Forum

I am glad you asked. I thought at first that Cloustons must have the weird toenails. I have found out that Dr. Clouston observed and reported upon a family who were from Quebec at the time he studied them. They seemed to be part French and part English. Of course, then I realized that most diseases are named after the doctors who studied or "discovered" them. So, I felt a little foolish. I am from the Bill, Foster, Newton, Vest, Ledbetter, Morris, Griffith lines. There are stories in a couple of those lines of people being part Indian. There are several dark families in these lines. I think that the weird toenails, and the other traits that go along with them come down the Bill, Foster line. Where were your families from and do you know some of the lines. It would be interesting to compare notes. Linda
