searching for information regarding an ANN COBBETT who married Wm Massie in VA 6 Aug
1786. I understand her to be a second wife of his. I am trying to determine if she is the mother of SARAH Massie/Massey who married James T. POLLOCK in 1819. Sarah had a brother named Joseph who married Nancy POLLOCK. I have a reference that says Sarah was the ward of a Joseph G. MASSIE/Massey. Maybe the dad was dead and the mom was unable to care for the children? Any help appreciated.
