Hello, I am descended from Ifama and David Coble. I have been researching them for about two years and have fund very little in the way of verification. We have the same family legend of Ifama being a Shawnee Indian. I have contacted the Greensboro Library Genealogist to no avail, NC didn't start keeping birth records until 1913.
I have nothing on either of their parents but have my full line from then to now.
Do you have any pictures? I am a sucker fro pictures. The oldest I have is my grest grandmother (in another line) from 1900 ish. Here's this line:
