I might know about Elizabeth Cockerham in Rutherford County, NC.

I have not seen the 1790 Census records for that surname, nor the 1800 one.

I must check my files again, but I believe she may have married a second time to a Baptist Minister whose wife had recently died. I will verify her marriage date and then I can say more.

The Coward surname might have married back into the Minister's family also.
