I have a John Cochran from Congruity, Westmoreland County, but other than dates (and descendants), I don't know if this is the same one. My John was born 13 July 1762 and married to Martha Thompson 1798 in Congruity. I don't know where I got the dates -- probably some Rootsweb or other online material, although his two daughters' (Mary and Eleanor') information is well-researched. Mary Cochran, his firstborn (and my husband's gg grandmother), was born in Congruity in 1799 and married in Ohio, then moved to Iowa in the 1830's. What other info do you have that may match my John Cochran besides the Westmoreland place?
