Seeking parents of Henry Cochrane (Sr.) and his brother Charles of Wyoming Valley(PA)during the Rev. War. Henry had a son, Henry, Jr. who had been captured by the Senecas in 1774 (shortly after his father died of illenss). Henry spent 4 years with the Senecas. After his escape he became a scout for Gen. George Washington's army under Gen. John Sullivan who led the destruction of the Iroquois Confederacy "Six Nations". The story is told in the books "The White Seneca" and "At Seneca Castle". The only family he mentions besides his uncle Charles is a sister named Eleca. He rescued and later married Contance Leonard who had also been captured by the same tribe of Senecas. After then end of the Rev. War they returned and settled in the Wyoming Valley.
