I'm also looking for a possible native american link for my g-grandparents Shadrick Simpson who married Dicey Cochran in Laurens Co., SC and later moved to Union Co., GA. My family lore says there is an Indian connection, probably Cherokee, and it must come through the Simpson or Cochran. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
