I am beginning a search of my Dad's family tree. My Dad died in the November of 1959 when I was 6 months old. I know little other than what has been told to me from my mother. Obviously I did not know him. He heralded from Edinburgh and his Dad and Mother were brought up on Gorge Road.
A bus driver, he died whilst playing football for Hull City Transport Football team on a Sunday morning 29 November 1959 at Princess Elizabeth Playing Field in Hull.
Brother of Alexander (Eckey) I think. Asle sister, Anne, who emigrated to Canada I think. He was an accomplished footballer who was once on the junior books of Heart of Middlothian I think.
Any information on where to start would be appreciated
