Hi Sandra
My great great grandfather was Donald James Cochrane (I was confused when I wrote the first post, which was quite some time ago), my great grandfather was Reginald Downie Cochrane and my grandfather was Andrew Downie Cochrane. I don't know much about any of them as my nanna and my grandfather were divorced when my father was little and she didn't keep in contact. I know Donald James was a master mariner and he was born in Inverness and died abroad. His father was called James. I would love to compare notes, if you have any old photos I would also love to see them.
Thank you
Katie Cochrane
