I'm looking for information on Thomas Cochrane born between 1790-1799 in County Down, Ireland. He moved to Amherst Island, Ontario, Ca. Died january 13, 1879. Married Mary Dundas (also born in Ireland and moved to Amherst Island). Father of William Cochrane born about 1826, died april 17, 1875 in Chatham, Kent, Ontario, Canada.

I can't locate any information about Thomas Cochrane's imigration or information regarding his residence/parents in Ireland.

Although the time period is close this is not (to my knowledge) the Thomas Cochrane that was 10th Earl of Dundonald.
