does any one know of relatives to ivy cochrane born about 1900approx. Married to James Gallop of Hammersmith. She had three children, John, George and Jean. I am her daughter Sandra. I am trying to trace her background where her family originated from. I know she had Scottish ancestors and she had relatives that were the Mayor and Mayoress of Leytonstone London at one time. She also had a relative who was scottish and he was a sailor I believe. She also had inherited very frizzy hair, as did my mother they looked alot alike. Does anyone have any idea if this is a family trait? any info appreciated.
