Carolyn, if we are talking about the same people, I can give you a little about Thomas' parents. John was born abt 1735 place unknown at present, and first appeared on the tax rolls in Barnwell SC in 1785. His first wife was Brambley(unk), and his second wife was Elizabeth (unk). Old John as he was known lived approx 108 years, and out lived all but three of his children. If you can find it, his will is in probate records #34 Amite Co. MS. it is suposed to list his heirs at the time of his death, children and grand children. Another researcher is in Amite Co. this week looking up the probate records for this period and I am in touch with her regularly. I have been stumped finding who Johns parents were, but he suposedly came from Lunenburg VA. At this time I cannot prove this.
