........Jane left Freeport and moved to Chelsea, MA shortly after her husband's death. She then married Israel Merrill (who was originally from Freeport and worked in the shipyard as a caulker) on Nov 18, 1852 [Chelsea VR], and the couple lived in Chelsea at least to 1870.
