Just to correct the record, Benoni/Benani/Benona Colvin did NOT die in 1879. He was listed among children and grandchildren mentioned in the 6 Jan 1885 will of his mother who died 1 Mar 1886 [Erie Co., NY, Estate of Mary Colvin, Surrogate Court File 4179, dated 1886]. According to the Illinois Statewide Death Certificate Index, Benoni died in 1897.
