We have the same gggrandparents.Sarah was married to a Jimmie Curtis before John. Jimmie left one day, and didn't return for 20 yrs. By then Sarah was married to John, and John had adopted Jimmie's 2 children. Jimmie wanted his wife back, but she told him NO!!!
I have a pretty good account of the Colvin's from Johnson, Floyd , Magoffin COunties. It's an on going project. If you need info I will be happy to share what you have.
