Janet was the daughter of Thomas Cowper, blacksmith/insurance agent, and Mary Robertson. Janet, a School mistress, married Donald MacDonald MacKintosh in Blythswood, Glasgow, in 1890. She was 29 when married so born about 1861. Her sister Lizzie was a witness to the marriage.
I am trying to trace MacKintosh descendents.
