George was born about 1807 and married Hannah Hemming born about 1809 in 1830. Hannah came from Exhall. I have found three children: Thomas born 1849; George born 1842 and William born 1846. William is my great great grandfather. He married Sarah Hyde born 1847. She came from Burford in Oxfordshire. William was a bricklayer who moved in to Birmingham in the late 1880's. He established a small building business and after various moves ended up living in the Kings Heath area of the city. William and Sarah had at least five children : William, Edwin, Alfred, Francis and Herbert. I am related to him through Edwin born 1872.
