I accidentally copied a sheet from the internet site of the Maryland State Archives:

Smoot - Catherine, dau. of John and Catherine Smoot of DO Co. (probably Dorchester) m. by 1788, John Syddeham Crapper (MCHP # 1301, 4802)"

I have no further information, and do not know what these letters represent.
