Thanks for replying Cliff......(and from so close to home too). Samuel is unfortunately a very popular name in the Bristol/Bedminster Crew family so I've not had much luck.
I have lots on the Bray line, but if you get the parish records could you watch for Glendinning (sometimes spelled Glendenning)? I'd really appreciate that. I do have the Bedminster census of 1851 on CD (and also the 1881 but that is online now) so tomorrow I will search for your Samuel and Phoebe and send you what I find.
