Bryans, Crews', and West's in Florida and Lousiana

I would like to make contact with the present day descendants of Nathaniel and Cynthia Bryan.

Nathaniel and Cynthia Bryan left Florida and spent some time in Rapides Parish, La, as evidenced by the 1850 census where they reside next to William and Lydia Crews West, and the subesequent 1860 census in Suwanee, Florida where they returned, leaving behind their eldest daughter, Sidney Bryan, who married a Self in Rapides Parish, La.

Penelope Crews was also present in Rapides Parish, La., in 1850 in the HH of William and Lydia Crews West, along with her young son, Charles. Penelope and her son also travelled to Florida by the 1860 census, where she married a Locklear, several years her junior.

I am seeking any and all old stories/heresay that may relate to their time spent in Louisiana in an effort to determine the reliationship of Lydia Crews West and Penelope Crews Locklear, daughter of Alexander Crews.

Thanks, Jimmie West
