I'm looking for information on Anderson L. Crews of Amherst County, VA and his first wife Patsy White. Any information would be gratefully appreciated, but I'd sure like to know when they were married; who their children were (did they have a son named Anderson born around 1794?); who Anderson and Patsy's parents were; when Anderson and Patsy died.
From the Amherst county, VA deed book 1827-1852, page 246, entry #201 dated Jan 9, 1840: it would appear that Anderson L. died sometime around June 16, 1847, acknowledging his 2nd wife Deborah Clemens and her children, but "...children by first marriage are excluded." Also from the Deed book 1807-1827 is the earliest record I have of his being married to Deborah, dated Nov 22, 1818 (page 158, entry #123, some kind of land deal). So....something must have happened to his 1st wife Patsy White before Nov 1818. Does anyone know what?
