I have pretty much lost hope of tracking this family down, but thought I would try on the Crews forum. Queen Victoria Alford married William Crews back around 1870 in Walton County, Florida. In 1880 I found Queen "Crues" living in Santa Rosa County (next door to then Walton County) with children Rutha, George, William, and Clark "Crues". Try as I might, I have not found anything on any of these children after 1880. There is no mention in the 1885 Florida State census or any mention that I have found in any US census in any state, after that. I guess the entire family could have died. The children were all under 10 in 1880, and the Florida Panhandle was still pretty wild in those days.
If anyone has ever heard of any of this Florida pandandle family, please help.
