Robert G. (Bobby) Crews
LEESBURG, FL - Former Shreveport resident Bobby Crews passed away at the age of 67, September 7, 2009 following a sudden illness. Bobby was born October 20, 1941.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held in Leesburg, Florida on Saturday, September 19th at 2:00 p.m. at Southpointe Baptist Church.
Bobby was a 1960 graduate of Fair Park High School. While in Shreveport he was an avid fast pitch softball player but his passion was the game of golf.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lois Crews and one brother Warren.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Candy, one daughter Jenice Grunfelder and one son Doug Crews, of Cooper City, Florida. Five granddaughters, Brenda Grunfelder of Orlando, Florida, Amanda and Paige Grunfelder, Taylor and Morgan Crews all of Cooper City, Florida. Two brothers, Johnny Crews of Keller, Texas and Denson Crews of Shreveport. Two sisters, Sammye Courtney of Benton and Francine Roberts of Blanchard.
