Mr. Shelton,
I was checking the posts here for Crews when I came across your post. I just posted a message for Crews who married Nelsons in Va.,Tn. and Indiana. I have Crews in my Nelson line,but my in my direct Nelson line I have a John Nelson from N.C. or Va. married to a Julia Ann Shelton born 1823 in Rowan Co.,N.C. I do not know her parents but I do know that a William Shelton lived in Rowan Co.,N.C. early 1800s. My Julia Ann (I think) comes from Henry R. Shelton and Elizabeth Lawrence Morgan. Henry R. was the son of Vincent and Susannah Robertson Shelton of Pittsylvania Co.,Va.They were the only Sheltons in Rowan Co.,N.C. in 1820 when my Julia was born .They also had 2 females in the 1830 census that would be in my Julia's age range. I also have Downing,Hays,Ricketts,Irby,Davis,Whitson,Farmer,Hughes,Bond
lines .Would you email me back to see if we can compare notes.
