The only e-mail address I could find didn't work, so I'll get back to you this way.
Your response really excited me, but not because of the Crews/Shelton connection. The only information I have on Crews, is that Callie Shelton, a cousin to my grandpa, married a Charles Alvis Crews in Henderson, Ky. in 1909. I can tell you that children and grandchildren include: James born 1910, Ronald J., born 1944, Michael born 1946, Robert born 1947, James Charles born 1948, Anthony born 1978 and Eric born 1982.
Now, what excited me, was your connection to Whitson and Downing. My Whitson's go back to the one who married Ann McDowell. The Downing I wonder about because my Pettit family MAY be connected.
I would like us to explore this a little.
