I don't know if this is your information, but it was to close to ignore.

According to Dr. Emmet Starr's book "Old Cherokee Families" a Joseph Elizabeth RICHARDS, b 16 Oct 1882 was married 16 Nov 1899 to John Thomas CRIPPS. John was b 8 Aug 1870 in Tennessee.
