(At ancestry he is indexed as Frank Crackett b 1866)
(At Heritage Quest he is indexed as Frank Crockett age 25) neither are correct they can plainly see his age is only 3)
Do they not know how to count? The 1896 does look like 1876 but it is not based on the age)
Frank will not be listed in the WW 1 Draft Registrations as he was a WW Vet and they did not have to registar so that means he was already serving.
YOu can request his service records if you are next of kin or directly related such as son, grandson, great grandson as well it takes about 6 weeks maybe longer to get them.

If you fill out the form request all records available and iclude his SS number and date of birth.
those Records should have who his parents where or his SS Records might as well.
there is no charge for the service records at least there used to not be but SS Records cost 27.00 or 16.00 for a
abbreviated NUMIDENT printout when the Social Security Number is provided
