Am looking for information on Nicholas Crocket, born 1791 died 1841 all in Maryland. He lived for a time in Vienna, MD but mostly was in Somerset County. I believe there is a connection to the Benton H. Crockett bunch. Nicholas served in the Militia 1812 in Salisbury district and his brother Levin Crockett (of Joshua) served in Princess Anne MD district. I cannot find any land ownership, rent rolls, or other information about this man other than the fact that he was in the census every 10 years starting in 1820. He married Mary Hardy (born 1801) in 1816. He is quite a mystery. Thanks for any help. Teresa
