He died 19 Sept. 1880 in Guilford. Married Julia L. Turner, the daughter of Howard and Elizabeth (Betsey) Sargent Turner. Eli apparently is from a different branch of Crocketts than the Candage book ones but there is a little more info re them if you haven't already found the data you wanted.
