Page 407 Eli Crockett, born 4 March 1785(per early records of Jefferson,Maine) and died 2 May 1851. Varying dates for marriage intentions/marriage per Bristol and Nobleboro records, Jefferson and Mormon Church records but1806/ 1807/1808 seem to cover it...Marriage was to Sarah "Sally" Hopkins of Jefferson,ME who was born 20 March,1785(Jefferson Records) and she died 1835.A Mrs. Walter White shows hehr birth as 20 March, 1784. they are buried in Old Grove Cem. in Dover Foxcroft, Maine. This Eli came from the Bristol/Bremen area. In 1989 a Mrs. Walter A. "Lee" (Glawson) White was working on family history. Are you in contact with her? There are two or three more pages in the book with info on Eli and Sally's children. The History of Peru (town in Maine)has more info on Julia Turner's family(. Daniel and Julia are buried in Guilford, Maine. Book also shows info on Daniel and Julia's children. Picton Press may still have the Candage book Crockett Genealogy for sale...that is where I got mine. If you have specific questions, let me know and I'll see what I can find.I'm in the Guilford area and also have Crockett ancestors, but evidently your Eli hasn't yet been tied to other direct lines covered in the book.
