I'm brand new to this stuff, but I'm also a direct descendent of Robert Addison Crockett, who was the son of Addison Crockett. I have a picture of him and his family (wife and the 14 of his children who lived to maturity, out of 16 total).
He was married on October 28, 1875 to Susan Howard Witten. Their children were:

My grandfather was Charles Henry Crockett, who had one child, my father Dale Rees Crockett. Dale's children are Gary, Bryan, Naneen, and Karla.
I believe that Robert Crockett lived in Tazewell County, Virginia. At some point they must have moved to Texas, because my grandfather was born in Fort Worth.
