I am doing research on my dad's family tree. The Crockett liine is the the side I am having the most trouble with. This is what I have:
William Swope Crockett
born: 1871, Norfolk, VA died: 1939, Hampton, VA
married: Mary Ellen Weston
his father:
Robert Henry Crockett
born: 1850, Petersburg, VA died: before 1939
married: Madora Dudley, then Agnes E. Schools
his father:
William Crockett
born: about 1829 died: unknown
married: Mary L. Wyatt
He disapears from ALL census records before and after the 1850 census where he is with Mary.
If anyone has information on this line of the Crocketts please email me. My dad would love to know where the middle name "Swope" comes from and which Crockett line these relatives come from. Thanks in advance for any help.
