On 30 June 1870, Robert H was in Town of Wilson, Wilson Co, NC. Stantonsburg, Post Office.
Crocket Robert H 19 VA Tinner
Amanda F 17 VA Attending School
They resided in the household of Robt Wyatt, also a tinner, from VA.

By 11 July 1870, Mary was with a household of the Wyatts in Norfolk, first ward. These appear to have been the same as in Petersburg in 1850. Mary, 42, was a tailoress. Amanda was 17. (Had she finished school and gone to her mother's?)

Robert was back in Norfolk in time to be listed in the 1872 directory,
1872 Norfolk, VA, directory
Crockett Robert, tinner, h 160 Fenchurch

The 1860 census has Medora V, age 5, in Norfolk, with W J Dudley (28, NC) and Caroline (32, VA). Also Jos D (12), Emily (10), Vandalia (3), and Julia M (2 months).

The 1870 census has Madora Dudley, age 15, in Norfolk, Norfolk Ward 2, with Willis Dudley (41, North Carolina) and Caroline (42, Virginia). Also Martha (10) and Christopher (2).

Madora would have been about 16 or 17 when William S was born. Robert H would have been about 21.
