My gggg grandfather was John Crockett, born 1740 in Kircudbright, Scotland. He married Margaret Young, daughter of John Young and mother unknown. Margaret Young was born 1747 in Scotland as well. John and Margaret married around 1765 and had 10 children - Joseph L. born 1770, John born 1774, Mary born 1771, William born 1768, Elizabeth born 1785, Sarah born 1769, Margaret unknown, James J. born 1766, David born 1778 in Pictou, Nova Scotia, and Agnes "Nancy" born 1768. I think David was the only one born in Nova Scotia, but not sure. I can't seem to find any information on John Crockett, other than his birth date of 1740 in Scotland. If anyone has any information about John or Margaret, it would be greatly appreciated.
