Diane, I didn't mean to make anyone having a stroke, cool down. This is what I found in Pontotoc, Ms. 24 yrs. ago, I guess the truth hurts! By the way the "Bear" killed wasn't by muzzle loader; but by human hand with a knife. David had many indian wife's, and never stay home. He came home one day, after gone for over a year. His wife had a new baby girl, David was ready to kill a man over this matter. He was furios, he demanded who was the man; his wife told him it was his brother's child. David loved his brother, so he said well as long as it's in the family. This brother and his wife child was the favorite of all of his wife's children, this was recorded. While i'm trying to catch up on my spelling to please you; Diane you read up on history your kin-folks (Crockett), oyher than reading more than fairy tales; before you explode again. I figured many our kin-folks in the past has done more things worst, but luckly it wasn't recorded. It just happen to David because he drinked and boasted to a writer in Pontotoc, Ms. Gerald Barnell Fowler
