Hi I don't know if this will help but sending it just incase. John and Margaret had family marry into my moms Marshalls. Robert and Elizabeth Marshall and 3 sons. came on his ship and settled in the Middle River area of Nova Scotia.

John Crockett came from Colvend Kirkecudbrightshire,Galloway in the Southren part of the low lands near the Solway Firth. He was a carpenter and built a Ship the Lovely Nennie/Nelly and came to Pictou in 1774 at the age of 31.His wife Margaret Young was 28 years old. She was daughter of John Young who wrote the Agricola letters in the early days at Halifax.
