Hi Scotty I am related through marriages of Crocketts into my mothers Marshalls. John and Margaret Crockett had my mothers great grandfather Robert "Deacon" Marshall , elizabeth his wife and three boys with them in the Lovely Nelly voyage of 1774. I believe they bonded together on the PEI almost starving and freezing together. They both came by small boat over to Pictou Nova Scotia. I love seeing the Settlers renactment every year as they perform it and tell the story of thes Dumphries settlers as they are called. They dress up in period clothes and bag pipes welcome them as they see them rowing in the waters. A few years the water was so rocky they had to pull the boat across the river as the row boats couldn't do it :)Now the Bob Marshall that I gave the phone number is Crockett blood as his G 5th grandmother was Agnes Crocket girl of John and Margaret. Margaret had been married to a William Porter as well. Barbara
