I am a direct decendant of Sampson Crockett born in Somerset Maryland around 1690. The trail cools off at this point. I have discoverd a Richard Crockett that came to Maryland in 1664 with Captain Paul Marsh and Henry Hill. Captain Marsh applied for a land patent for transporting theses two men. Does anyone know of the origins of Paul Marsh? Henry Hill? or Richard Crockett. I have found a very weak link to Tipperary County Ireland. Although I do not have any information to show Richard Crockett is Sampson Crocketts father, the timing and location is close.
