Hi Margaret:

I have just started working on our family tree.
Beedie Croll is my g grandfather on my father's side, He was born Jan 16, 1852.
- married Catherine Henderson in 1874 in Angus
- one daughter Isabella born Nov 16, 1883
- she married Thomas Boyle in Feb 28, 1908 in Marykirk
- they were my g parents
- I have found some confusing facts about Robert Croll
- I have one birth date of 1792 in Laurencekirk and another of SEpt 29,1827 in St Cyrus (parents listed as James Croll & Janet Allan)
- the 1851 census lists Beedie as a servant for Robert (the 1792 one)

Have you found any other info about the Crolls??

Hope this is helpful
