Nicholas Morton CROLL was born in Glasgow probably in the late 1800s. He served in WWI and injured by mustard gas, from which he never fully recovered. By 1917 he was in Kirmington, Brigg, Lincolnshire where a daughter was born. Not sure of other offspring. Mother of the daughter was Edith Hill. It is uncertain whether she and Nicholas married or not. I cannot find a record of his birth, though I am assured by family members that it was in Glasgow.
