Hi, Iam new at this so I will try to give as much info as I can. My Grandfather Arthur Crommett DOB: 02-04-1891 was born on the east coast somewhere. He married Alma Fowler, who lived on a farm in Pensylvania (??) They traveled across the country via automobile in the 1920's and the decendents now live in Oregon. There are only a few Crommetts in Oregon and I know all of them. Here's What I know. Arthur Crommett DOB: Above Father is I believe Charles, and Mother is I believe Charlotte,Carolyn or Charlene. My Father, James Crommett DOB: 2-15-1940 has 2 brothers, Mryon Crommett and Gene Crommett, Both of these were born on the east coast. My Father was born on the west coast. My father states that he was told that his family was on of the original settlers that came over to the US. He was also advised that they did not come over with the name Crommett, but they had changed it after settling here due to spelling issues. Any help you can provide me would be wonderful, as I am new to this. Thanks so much! Denise Notify Administrator about this message?
