Martha Alice gave me no data on Michael Crookshank other than he is the father of George.
Her info on George came from the Virginia Census 1850, Jackson County.He was born in "Virginia" (perhaps what is now W. Virginia) about 1788. Don't know how he got there.
Wife was Therese Anne Babcock. There is also a note saying "Sarah--". I don't know if that is a second wife but I believe so.
Sorry I haven't more.
