Fran, You said you would like to find your Croson kin in TN. Do you know any names/places in TN? I find that my Ragsdales are connected to some by the name of Croson/Crosen in Williamson Co TN. It seems to be spelled differently each census. My Great Greatfather, Hiram Ragsdale, married a Virginia Crosen in 1870. This was a second wife and no children by her. Hiram was born in 1815 somewhere in TN and died in Williamson Co TN in the 1880's. Do I have the right surname you think? Do you know if you do have ancestors by the name of Ragsdale or not?
