Nellie was my maternal grandmother. She is listed in the 1900 census along with her parents - William M. Croson and Mary Jane Croson. Mary Jane's maiden name was BURGESS. They were residents of Loudoun County Virginia at the time of the census. I don't know for sure that Nellie was actually born in Loudoun County. Virginia didn't require birth certificates from 1896 to 1912.
Nellie's birthdate was 21 August 1899. She married John F. O'Meara in Rockville. MD on 24 April 1920. She died in Arlington, VA on 9 July 1967. She was the oldest of about 13 children, all of whom were probably born in or around Loudoun County.
Any info on the Loudoun County Virginia Croson Family and Nellie in particular will be appreciated.
