Daniel Crouse was born in NC to Richard and Jane/Jennie Holloway Crouse. It think it is safe to assume the Daniel was for Jennie's father Daniel Holloway. BUT...I found him in one census as DAVID, just as plain as the nose on his face. Anyone have an input or opinion? I'm also trying to "nail down" his second wife Tabitha. One census mentions his stepchildren whose last name is Oiler.
