Hello,
I am trying to locate information on a Captain Cruise who was wounded in the Battle of Vicksburg during the Civil War. Captain Cruise died ca 1931-1934.
The surname of his wife was Miner (I don't know a given name)
Their children were born in or near Athens, Georgia:
Georgia
Blanch May b August 15, 186? (m Luke Jones)
Carle (female)
Sally (m C.X. Williams)
and at least one son: Will
