My paternal grandmother Mary Cruise according to her death certificacte was born in Dublin to Robert Cruise and Grace Alston Aug.16,1861. I am told that she always declared she came from County Cork so that may be a clue to where she immigrated from. She came to Lindsay ,Ontario Can. about 1874 to join her brother John.In 1877 she married my grandfather Isaac Brock in Lindsay. I have no further info. re.her brother or their roots before 1861. Any info.would be greatly appreciated.
